A law firm seeks an experienced Lemon Law Associate Attorney to join their remote legal team. This full-time position requires an attorney licensed to practice in Texas, with prior experience in Lemon Law. The role involves evaluating claims, advising clients, negotiating with manufacturers, and managing cases through resolution.

Duties

• Manage Lemon Law matters from intake through settlement or litigation.
• Review and analyze repair orders, vehicle histories, and purchase documents.
• Evaluate Lemon Law and related consumer protection claims.
• Develop case strategy and advise clients on legal options.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status and strategy.
• Draft demand letters, legal correspondence, and pleadings.
• Research and interpret applicable Texas statutes and case law.
• Negotiate with manufacturers and opposing counsel.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
• Handle discovery, motion practice, and litigation-related responsibilities.
• Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff remotely.

Requirements

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• Prior Lemon Law practice experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lemon Law and consumer protection principles.
• Experience reviewing vehicle repair histories and warranties.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfort with legal technology and cloud-based systems.
• Strong commitment to client service.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications
