A law firm seeks a Casualty Litigation Attorney to join its team in Cherry Hill, NJ, or Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement within a mid-sized, regional practice specializing in general liability, professional liability, and toxic tort matters. Duties

• Manage and litigate complex casualty, general liability, and professional liability cases from inception through trial.


• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity.


• Collaborate with team members on case strategy, discovery, and settlement negotiations.


• Maintain accurate records of billable hours and case files using firm management systems.


 

Requirements

• Current and active Bar membership in good standing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, DC, and/or Connecticut.


• Prior experience in casualty litigation is preferred, though candidates with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.


• Superior written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail.


• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and LexisNexis.


• Familiarity with case and file management systems; ability to track billable hours is strongly preferred.


 

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.


 

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in one or more of the specified jurisdictions.
