A law firm seeks a Transactional Attorney in Knoxville, Tennessee. This full-time position involves working on a variety of banking, commercial real estate, title, and corporate transactions. Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related financing documents.
• Represent lenders and borrowers in commercial lending transactions.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and coordinate loan closings.
• Draft and negotiate real estate agreements and assist with development projects.
• Review title commitments and resolve title defects.
• Form and maintain business entities and draft governance documents.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or able to obtain admission within six months.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee

Skills

• Experience in commercial real estate, title, banking, finance, or corporate transactions preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial lending transactions and entity formations.
• Working knowledge of Tennessee real estate and business law.
