A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will manage complex commercial litigation matters, including factual investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, and motion practice. Experience in both state and federal courts is preferred, with administrative and arbitration experience considered beneficial. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, exceptional judgment, and the ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.

Duties

• Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including conducting factual investigations and discovery.



• Prepare pleadings, take depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations.



• Communicate effectively with clients and articulate legal strategies and courses of action.



• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating exceptional judgment and working well under pressure.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation.



• Experience in both state and federal court is preferred.



• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial.



• Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration is preferred but not required.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois, or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.
