Duties

• Represent clients at EOIR hearings, including master calendar and individual hearings.
• Prepare applications for relief, evidence packets, briefs, and witnesses.
• Handle bond hearings and motions for bond reconsideration for detained clients.
• Build and file waiver packages, including I-601, I-601A, and I-212 applications.
• Prepare clients for and attend USCIS interviews, advocating on their behalf.
• Conduct consultations and strategy meetings in English and Spanish.
• Draft motions, briefs, and correspondence; manage case deadlines.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction; Florida Bar preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Experience in immigration law, with confidence in court and USCIS settings.
• Strong legal writing skills and organizational ability to manage a busy caseload.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction
