A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate in Madison, WI. The role involves managing complex commercial litigation matters across state and federal courts, including factual investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, and motion practice. Duties

• Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including factual investigations, discovery, and preparation of pleadings.



• Conduct depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.



• Communicate regularly with clients to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.



• Handle multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional judgment and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation.



• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois, or a commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.



• Experience in both state and federal court is preferred.



• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial.



• Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration is preferred but not required.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois.
