Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with three to six years of construction-related transactional experience to join its nationally recognized Construction and Infrastructure Transactions practice in Denver, CO. The team handles sophisticated contracts for large-scale energy, transportation, and industrial infrastructure projects.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including EPC, design-build, alternative delivery, supply, purchase, service, engineering, and consulting contracts.



• Advise clients on critical commercial terms such as risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, and bonding.



• Communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to manage high-stakes infrastructure transactions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in independently drafting and negotiating the specified contract types.



• Hands-on experience advising on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, and bonding structures.



• Excellent legal writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.



• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with direct partner mentorship.

Education

• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Colorado or eligibility for admission.
