Duties

• Defend public entities in litigation from inception to resolution.
• Develop legal strategies and conduct research.
• Draft pleadings and motions; manage discovery.
• Argue motions in court and attend mediations.
• Participate in trials and collaborate with team members.

Requirements

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in general liability and personal injury.
• Current admission to the California State Bar.
• Experience in preparing pleadings, discovery, and legal briefs.
• Arbitration and trial experience preferred.
• Experience supervising law clerks and junior associates is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
