A law firm seeks a Mortgage and Structured Finance Associate in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team to handle complex financial transactions and provide strategic legal counsel to clients in the structured finance sector.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex mortgage and structured finance documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and closing deliverables.



• Conduct legal research and due diligence to support transactional matters and advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management.



• Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams to manage deal timelines and ensure seamless execution of financial transactions.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in New York State with a strong academic record and relevant internship or clerkship experience.



• Minimum of one to three years of experience in mortgage lending, structured finance, or commercial banking law.



• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in New York State.
