Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with experience in project development to join their Energy and Natural Resources Group in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 8 years of experience in representing developers, manufacturers, sponsors, investors, and/or lenders in project development, mergers and acquisitions, and/or project finance transactions.

Duties

• Represent clients in the development, construction, acquisition, financing, and operation of energy and infrastructure projects.
• Draft and negotiate supply agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, LTSAs, and other commercial contracts related to energy and infrastructure projects.
• Engage in transactions involving renewable energy projects.

Requirements

• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active member of the bar in the state where they practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant state.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Experience in project finance and M&A transactions.
• Knowledge of energy and infrastructure sectors.
