Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Texas-licensed Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an attorney with hands-on plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience who is comfortable managing cases immediately, developing litigation strategies, and advocating for injured clients throughout the litigation process. This position will begin as a remote role for candidates residing in Texas.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution.



• Develop and execute litigation strategies to maximize case outcomes and prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.



• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents while maintaining compliance with Texas procedural rules.



• Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court.



• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties.



• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and other legal professionals to ensure efficient case progression.



• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status, strategy, and potential outcomes.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing.



• Demonstrated hands-on experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury litigation matters.



• Experience managing litigated cases independently from filing through resolution.



• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.



• Experience with depositions, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.



• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.



• Strong client communication and case management abilities.



• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Texas State Bar license.
