Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time, partnership-track mid-level associate to join its thriving real estate practice in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience, including representing borrowers and/or lenders in financing transactions.

Duties

• Negotiate, document, and close mortgage, mezzanine, and other secured lending transactions.
• Manage complex transactions and coordinate closings.
• Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents.

Requirements

• Three to six years of commercial real estate experience.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture structures, and equity transactions preferred.
• Strong academic record and exceptional analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
• Collaborative approach to the practice of law.
• Texas bar membership preferred; required within one year of joining.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible for admission within one year.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
