Duties

• Manage day-to-day handling of cases and hearings, ensuring timely progression through all legal stages.



• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and memoranda.



• Guide clients through the case process, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout.



• Interact with expert witnesses, including scheduling conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.



• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings with efficiency and attention to detail.



• Excellent client service and communication skills to build trust and manage expectations.



• Self-starter mindset driven by long-term career goals and professional development.



• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills to effectively represent client interests.

Education

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.

Skills

• Experience or strong interest in learning Workers' Compensation law from the ground up.
