A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Oakland, NJ. The ideal candidate will be admitted to and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar, ready to join a dynamic team handling diverse litigation matters.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions.
• Represent clients in civil litigation before state and federal courts.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and litigation correspondence.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Handle contract disputes, employment claims, and civil rights claims.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with attorneys on litigation and related matters.

Requirements

• Admitted to and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
• Experience in civil litigation matters.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.
