Duties

• Conduct factual investigations, manage discovery, and prepare pleadings for state and federal courts.



• Take depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and arbitrations.



• Communicate effectively with clients to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.



• Second-chair trials or arbitrations as needed, demonstrating proactive and dynamic legal advocacy.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation.



• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois, or a commitment to obtaining one immediately.



• Experience in both state and federal court is preferred; administrative and arbitration experience is beneficial.



• Excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Delaware or Illinois (or eligibility to obtain).
