Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level transactional associate to join its Corporate and Securities Practice Group in New York City, NY. The associate will work collaboratively within a multi-office team, representing public company clients across various industries. This role offers exposure to complex securities, corporate governance, capital markets, and regulatory matters.

Duties

• Represent large Nasdaq and NYSE-listed public company clients.
• Engage in complex securities and corporate governance matters.
• Handle capital markets and regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with a dynamic, multi-office team.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of corporate and securities experience at a large regional or national law firm.
• Experience with Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 matters.
• Prior service with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible for licensing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of employment.
