Duties

• Advise and counsel clients on estate and trust matters, drafting documents to effectuate comprehensive estate plans.



• Assist with probate and trust administrations from start to finish, including drafting petitions, pleadings, and notices, and attending hearings.



• Represent real estate clients in transactional and litigation matters, drafting deeds, agreements, and pleadings, and advocating in court.



• Manage case priorities, coordinate with support staff, and attend client meetings, signings, and networking events.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of civil law experience, with a preference for real estate, business law, or estate planning.



• Admitted to practice and in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.



• Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and seek support when needed.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Washington State Bar Association membership.

Skills

• Highly motivated with a fast learning ability.



• Strong organizational skills to manage, prioritize, and balance caseloads.



• Effective communication and coordination skills for instructing paralegal and support staff.
