A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Orange County, CA. The successful candidate will work under a Partner specializing in transactional, finance, real estate, and regulatory advice for closely-held businesses.

Duties

• Draft and review commercial real estate transaction documentation.
• Review and revise finance agreements.
• Manage finance closings.
• Conduct title and survey reviews.
• Handle corporate filings, consents, and resolutions.
• Prepare multifamily HUD, FHA, Fannie, or Freddie loan documentation.
• Conduct legal writing and research.
• Manage client relationships with discretion and judgment.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Research law and investigate facts.
• Prepare documentation for the formation of legal entities.
• Ensure legal entity compliance and maintenance.

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Admitted to California bar; additional bar admissions are helpful.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer and word processing, including redlining.
• Ability to multitask and manage several matters simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Accountable and highly dependable.
• Excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Law degree from a recognized university.

Certifications

• State Bar of California (Required).
