A law firm seeks an Associate for their Debt Finance team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves working with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and public and private companies on complex financing transactions. Duties

• Represent borrowers in junior and senior credit facilities.
• Handle acquisition financings and capital call facilities.
• Engage in transactions involving equity investments and ownership changes.
• Work on syndicated credit facilities and asset-based lending.
• Participate in healthcare finance and intercreditor arrangements.
• Assist in workouts, restructurings, and project financings.
• Manage sale/leaseback transactions and various credit financings.
• Represent private credit lenders in direct lending transactions.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience for junior associates; 4-6 years for mid-level associates.
• Experience in private equity debt finance.
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active law license in a U.S. jurisdiction in good standing.
