Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of family law litigation from initial case development through resolution.
• Attend and appear in court for hearings and other legal proceedings with guidance from experienced attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines using the firm's technology and systems.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio or awaiting Ohio Bar Admission.
• One year of legal experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and eager to learn.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio or awaiting Ohio Bar Admission.
