Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join their team as Special Counsel in Atlanta, GA. This remote role involves representing a dedicated PEO client and its customers, primarily in Northern California. The position requires in-person participation in court proceedings and other litigation-related events.

Duties

• Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop case strategies and draft pleadings and motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions and represent clients in hearings and trials.
• Supervise and mentor attorneys and legal staff.
• Coordinate with partners, associates, and support teams.
• Maintain communication with the PEO client, its customers, and the insurance carrier.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Seven or more years of employment law and litigation experience.
• Active bar membership in good standing; California admission required.
• Experience with Professional Employer Organizations preferred.
• Ability to manage high-volume matters and handle EPLI claims.
• Reside in Northern California with availability for in-person proceedings.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing; California admission required.
