A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation team in Atlanta, GA. Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and strategic recommendations for clients.



• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks effectively to paralegals and legal assistants.



• Prepare discovery responses, manage document production, and attend depositions and hearings.



• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary while providing thorough reports.



• Maintain regular communication with support staff and leverage AI tools to elevate everyday legal work.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.



• 2-3 years of practice experience in workers' compensation defense is preferred.



• Demonstrated superior organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.



• Proactive mindset with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.



• Ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple files simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or better from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar admission in Georgia.
