Job Overview

Duties

• Manage and develop assigned personal injury cases, including pre-suit investigations, settlement negotiations, lien resolution, and discovery.



• Prepare pleadings, conduct motion practice, perform legal research and writing, and attend court conferences and hearings.



• Litigate cases to verdict and supervise support staff to ensure efficient case progression.



• Maintain clear communication and positive relationships with clients while collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.



• 2-5 years of experience, preferably in personal injury, insurance defense, or prior claims handling.



• Ability to work under pressure and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Ohio Bar License (Required).

Skills

• Excellent research, writing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.



• Knowledge of NEOS case management software is preferred.



• Strong ability to handle a large docket and advocate aggressively for clients.
