Duties

• Represent veterans in appeals before the CAVC.
• Draft briefs, motions, and other appellate filings.
• Conduct case evaluations and legal research.
• Collaborate with internal legal teams and support staff.
• Maintain clear and compassionate client communication.
• Complete assignments from other attorneys.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing.
• Admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
• 1-3 years of CAVC experience with 25-50 cases litigated.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Track record of strong docket management skills.
• Passion for working with veterans and their survivors.
• Superior client relation skills.
• Strong computer and technology skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
