A law firm seeks an experienced Social Security Disability Attorney to join its growing practice in Lakeland, FL. The firm is building one of the fastest-growing disability practices in the country, offering a robust caseload and consistent client pipeline. This role allows attorneys to focus on advocacy and case management rather than business development, supporting a mission-driven team dedicated to consumer rights.

Duties

• Represent Social Security Disability clients through all stages of their claims, from initial application to final resolution.



• Prepare clients for hearings and advocate on their behalf before Administrative Law Judges.



• Develop legal strategies, prepare evidence, and build compelling cases to secure benefits for clients.



• Manage a substantial caseload while maintaining exceptional client service and collaborating with support staff.

Requirements

• Hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active license in good standing with at least one US state bar.



• Demonstrate prior experience handling Social Security Disability hearings and successfully managing a high-volume caseload.



• Exhibit outstanding communication, advocacy, and client relationship skills, with strong writing and organizational abilities.



• Be self-motivated, performance-driven, and comfortable working in an office-based environment with a high-performing team.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Existing Social Security Representative ID (preferred).

Skills

• Experience with cross-border matters is not required, but experience with high-volume disability claims is desired.



• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with experienced legal professionals.



• Strong case management and evidence preparation capabilities.
