Duties

• Handle complex Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, and related litigation.
• Represent debtors, creditors, committees, trustees, lenders, equity holders, or purchasers of distressed assets.
• Manage workouts, distressed transactions, UCC enforcement, DIP financing, and cash collateral issues.
• Advise on preferences, fraudulent transfers, and bankruptcy litigation.
• Provide strong client counseling and engage in business development.

Requirements

• Significant experience in bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
• New Jersey Bar admission required.
• New York Bar admission required, or eligibility and willingness to obtain admission within one year.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New Jersey and New York.

Skills
