Duties

• Handle municipal matters, including ordinance enforcement and zoning.
• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions.
• Appear in court for municipal prosecutions and defense cases.
• Draft pleadings, agreements, and legal memoranda.
• Communicate with clients, municipal officials, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with the principal attorney on various legal matters.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing in Illinois.
• Motivated and dependable with strong initiative.
• Comfortable in court or eager to gain courtroom experience.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple matters.
• Experience in municipal law, real estate, or litigation preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Illinois Attorney License.
