A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its team in Chesapeake, VA. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Partner, providing support in daily operations and strategic priorities. This role involves mentoring paralegals and support staff, with a focus on personal injury cases.

Duties

• Provide legal representation in personal injury litigation.
• Mentor and guide paralegals and support staff.
• Collaborate with the Managing Partner on strategic initiatives.
• Handle case management and client communications.

Requirements

• Admitted and licensed to practice law in Virginia.
• Active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience in personal injury matters.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and trial advocacy skills.
• Knowledge of Virginia automobile insurance coverages and claims processes.
• Experience with case management software (Neos preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Virginia.
