A law firm seeks a Business Immigration Associate in Los Angeles, California. Duties

• Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders through meetings, briefings, and proactive reporting.
• Formulate immigration strategies for intricate matters, presenting well-structured arguments and advising on industry-specific risks.
• Research complex technical immigration issues, formulate solutions, and independently execute case preparation and filings.
• Supervise and mentor associates and staff, providing coaching and performance management.
• Identify revenue opportunities by exploring new business initiatives and supporting partners on client proposals and pitches.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and standardization of processes.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience at the associate level in immigration law.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of immigration law and sector-specific issues.
• Prior team management experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a dedication to exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• U.S. JD or LLM required.

Certifications

• Member of a U.S. State bar or Washington DC bar association.
