Duties

• Represent landlords in residential and commercial landlord-tenant litigation, including eviction proceedings and lease disputes.
• Handle general civil and commercial litigation from inception through resolution.
• Appear in Superior Court and other courts throughout New Jersey for motion hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, discovery demands, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Manage discovery and an active caseload independently.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions, including contract review and closings.
• Assist with other legal matters as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey and in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience required.
• Experience in landlord-tenant litigation and general civil litigation preferred.
• Experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently handle court appearances and litigation matters.
• Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
