A law firm seeks an experienced Tax, Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its team in Greenwich, CT. The successful candidate will advise high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners on complex trust, estate, and tax planning matters, as well as trust and estate administration. This role involves supporting client relationships across Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.

Duties

• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including trusts, wills, and wealth transfer planning.
• Handle complex trust and estate administration matters.
• Counsel clients on federal and state estate, gift, income, and fiduciary tax issues.
• Collaborate with attorneys on tax, trust, and estate planning aspects of client matters.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with multi-state estate planning matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support practice development.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; LLM in Taxation preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in tax, trusts & estates law.
• Admitted in Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey; willingness to obtain additional admissions.
• Strong knowledge of estate, gift, fiduciary, and income tax planning.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and client relationship skills.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• LLM in Taxation preferred.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey.
