A law firm seeks a Professional Liability/Legal Malpractice Associate Attorney in Boston, MA. This role involves defending professional liability and malpractice claims, offering significant responsibility and direct client interaction. Duties

• Defend professional liability and malpractice claims through all phases of litigation.
• Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, and manage written discovery.
• Conduct legal research and prepare strategic case analyses.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings.
• Work with expert witnesses and consultants.
• Assist with trial preparation and appellate matters.
• Develop strong client relationships while working collaboratively with attorneys across offices and practice groups.

Requirements

• 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in professional liability, insurance defense, commercial litigation, or other complex civil litigation.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar and good standing required; admission in other jurisdictions a plus.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
