A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Frederick, MD. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Maryland and in good standing, with additional state licensures preferred. The role requires familiarity with evidence rules, foreclosure law, bankruptcy, and property law.

Duties

• Manage litigation caseload, including probate, title curative, and eviction matters.
• Handle cases from referral through disposition, settlement, or verdict.
• Attend court hearings and perform discovery.
• Prepare and review legal documents for accuracy.
• Resolve title issues and complete curative actions.
• Provide legal advice and research applicable statutes and case law.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland and in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in finance, real estate, or related fields.
• Experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, or evictions preferred.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and related laws is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to travel as needed.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Maryland.
