Duties

• Conduct discovery, issue subpoenas, and review documents.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Prepare witnesses for court appearances.
• Communicate with clients about case developments.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence.
• Draft legal briefs and motions for court submission.
• Present cases in court, arguing facts and citing laws.

Education

• Passed both sections of the Kentucky Bar Exam.
• Top 25% in class from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• 0-3 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred).

Skills

• Strong sense of legal field practices and processes.
• Ability to manage transactions from inception to closing.
