A law firm seeks an Employee Benefits Attorney in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in employee benefits, including familiarity with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Internal Revenue Code. Duties

• Advise on health and welfare plans, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, wellness programs, COBRA, deferred compensation, and executive compensation.
• Stay current on legislative and regulatory actions in a rapidly changing area.
• Work individually and as part of a team.
• Provide excellent client service and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 4+ years of experience in employee benefits.
• Excellent analytic, writing, and verbal skills.
• Ability to independently produce quality work product.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continued client development activity.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
