Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss case details, demonstrating empathy and earning their confidence and respect.



• Communicate regularly with clients and insurance companies regarding claim status, demands, and settlement offers.



• Prepare cases for trial and serve as first chair counsel during jury trials when necessary.



• Evaluate claims thoroughly and utilize superb negotiation skills to resolve matters efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be a member of the South Carolina Bar and in good standing.



• Possess six or more years of litigation experience.



• Demonstrate experience in evaluating claims and managing complex legal matters.



• Exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of South Carolina.

Skills

• Five or more jury trials as first chair preferred.



• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.



• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



• Strong team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
