Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified junior associate to join their Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing group in Los Angeles. The associate will engage in IP licensing and technology transactions, providing IP support in M&A, venture financings, and other corporate transactions.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate technology and IP license agreements.
• Handle customer agreements, including SaaS agreements.
• Manage channel partner agreements, such as OEM and VAR agreements.
• Participate in collaboration and strategic alliance agreements.

Requirements

• Experience or interest in technology transactions, IP, or related commercial work.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Curiosity about technology, including AI and open source software.

Education

• Outstanding academic credentials.

Certifications

• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
