A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Associate in Virginia to represent clients in complex disputes and high-stakes matters, including commercial litigation and government investigations. Duties

• Handle litigation matters in federal and state courts.
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other key filings.
• Manage discovery, including document strategy, review, and production.
• Support and lead responses to government investigations and enforcement actions.
• Conduct and assist with internal investigations, including witness interviews.
• Prepare investigative reports and client-facing analyses.
• Advise clients on risk mitigation and compliance.
• Prepare clients for testimony before agencies and committees.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

Requirements

• Experience as a lead associate in federal and state court litigation.
• Experience with government and internal investigations.
• Experience with employment-related disputes and compliance reviews is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor from a top 25 law school preferred.

Certifications

• Admission (or waive-in eligibility) to Virginia Bar.
