A law firm in Brookfield, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced attorney to advocate for injured clients and drive cases toward resolution. This role offers the opportunity to independently manage a personal injury docket within a collaborative team environment, handling matters from pre-suit through final resolution.

Duties

• Evaluate liability and damages, negotiate claims, and determine the appropriate timing to file suit.



• Handle discovery, conduct and defend depositions, and draft and argue motions.



• Prepare cases for mediation, hearings, and trial while building strong client relationships.



• Guide clients through the legal process and manage the docket independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or insurance defense.



• Proven experience managing cases, conducting discovery, handling motion practice, and negotiating settlements.



• Strong research, writing, case analysis, and organizational skills.



• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a litigation team.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Wisconsin law license.
