AI Project Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an AI Project Attorney to support the adoption, integration, and utilization of artificial intelligence in legal service delivery. This role may be based in Wheeling, WV, or considered for 100% remote US locations.

Duties

• Develop and build generative AI workflows, use cases, and prompts for legal practice, including identifying agentic use cases.


• Create use case materials for various practice areas and roles, expanding prompt libraries and driving utilization by attorneys.


• Train lawyers and timekeepers on AI through one-on-one sessions, workshops, and design-thinking sessions.


• Maintain expertise in the firm's generative AI tools, assisting with vetting, piloting, and onboarding new technology.


• Collaborate with practice groups to support the adoption of generative AI and build communities of practice.


• Assist in communicating with clients on AI solutions and develop case studies for marketing and business development.


 

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university and admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.


• Minimum of three years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or comparable legal environment.


• Strong technical aptitude, including familiarity with generative AI, large language models, and machine learning.


• Experience building generative AI workflows, use cases, and prompts for legal practice.


• Proven experience driving and supporting the adoption of legal technology.


 

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.


 

Certifications

• Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in layman's terms.


• Proficiency in managing workflows, documents, and communications using best practices and technology.


• Developed analytical, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
