The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior partners to ensure successful outcomes, managing a heavy caseload with minimal supervision while utilizing modern legal software.

Duties

• Develop case strategies and analyze client needs to identify effective legal solutions.



• Negotiate optimal outcomes for clients and draft correspondence, demands, and legal pleadings.



• Conduct legal research on complex issues and draft briefs and motions for court proceedings.



• Oversee and manage the work of case managers, legal assistants, and administrative staff.



• Argue motions in court and handle docket management with a focus on case progression.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.



• Minimum of two years of prior experience in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.



• Proven experience negotiating personal injury claims and handling commercial cases.



• Ability to understand medical records, treatment nuances, and complex legal issues.



• Strong decision-making, public speaking, and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active state bar license.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis.



• Strong command of Microsoft Office and legal software applications.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



• Ability to effectively manage a team and handle a heavy caseload independently.

Benefits

• Compensation starting at $110,000+.
