The successful candidate will have significant experience in representing investment managers and sponsors in the formation and operation of various private funds and advising on regulatory and compliance matters.

Duties

• Represent investment managers and sponsors in private fund formation and operation.
• Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Structure and document family office investments and services.
• Negotiate and document direct investments and co-investment transactions.
• Manage sophisticated legal matters and supervise junior attorneys.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience in investment management or private fund formation.
• Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
