Duties

• Represent clients in pre-suit and post-judgment matters.
• Review correspondence and file information to determine appropriate legal actions.
• Prepare responses to discovery and dispositive motions.
• Manage all aspects of preparing for and appearing as counsel at hearings and trials.
• Attend court settings throughout Texas, both virtually and in person as needed.
• Provide analysis and advise on legal and regulatory risks.
• Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, and correspondence.

Requirements

• Background in litigation.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws with experience in collection law or courtroom experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the FDCPA/FCRA/TCPA is a plus.

Education

• JD in law.

Certifications

• Attorney bar license in Texas.
