Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, depositions, and settlement agreements.
• Prepare for court depositions and participate actively in trial proceedings to advocate for clients' interests.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case progress and legal options while managing client expectations.

Requirements

• Preferred at least 3+ years of litigation experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
