Duties

• Represent clients in regulatory proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission on various issues.
• Engage with the California Energy Commission, California Independent System Operator, and other regulatory bodies.
• Negotiate energy-related contracts, including power purchase and interconnection agreements.
• Advise on generation, storage, and transmission project development.
• Identify and anticipate developments in utilities regulations.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with client-facing experience.
• Track record in energy and utilities law.
• Experience with California Public Utilities Commission proceedings preferred.
• Active member of the California State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
