Duties

• Handle insurance coverage disputes in the commercial insurance sector.
• Conduct factual investigations and discovery.
• Prepare pleadings and take depositions.
• Participate in mediation and argue motions.
• Communicate extensively with clients regarding coverage issues.
• Review commercial and personal lines insurance policies.
• Draft coverage evaluations and reservation of rights letters.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in insurance coverage disputes.
• Experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office or commitment to obtain one.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work well under pressure.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
