Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with three to six years of construction-related transactional experience to join its nationally recognized Construction and Infrastructure Transactions practice in Princeton, NJ. The team handles sophisticated contracts for large-scale energy, transportation, and industrial infrastructure projects, offering direct partner mentorship and early client contact within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate sophisticated contracts, including EPC agreements, design-build documents, alternative delivery contracts, supply and purchase agreements, service and engineering agreements, and consulting agreements.



• Advise on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, bonding, and other critical commercial terms for national significance matters.



• Communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure seamless execution of complex transactions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in independently drafting and negotiating the specified contract types.



• Hands-on experience advising on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, and bonding.



• Excellent legal writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.



• Ability to work effectively in a high-responsibility, collaborative, and fast-paced practice.

Education

• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in New Jersey or eligibility for admission.
