A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Immigration Attorney to work remotely, preferably in the MT/PT time zones, based in Santa Monica, California. The role involves leading immigration strategy for research universities, hospitals, healthcare systems, startups, and small technology companies.

Duties

• Advise on H-1B strategy, EB-1B, NIW, O-1, E-2, TN, E-3, and J-1 matters.
• Handle physician and clinical matters, including J-1 waivers and Conrad 30.
• Manage faculty PERM special handling and permanent residence cases.
• Guide startups on immigration strategy as they grow.
• Lead client communication and review the work of paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• Bar membership and 7+ years of business immigration experience.
• Strong knowledge of nonimmigrant and employment-based green card processes.
• Experience with universities, hospitals, or startups.
• Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail in a high-volume setting.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar membership.
