The ideal candidate will possess three to six years of experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including manufacturing, supply, distribution, services, consulting, development, collaboration, reseller, and licensing contracts. The role requires a technologically savvy professional comfortable leveraging general and legal AI tools, with a strong commitment to client service and professional growth.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts such as manufacturing, supply, distribution, and licensing agreements.



• Collaborate with experienced attorneys to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.



• Leverage general and legal AI technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in contract management.



• Provide high-quality legal advice and support to clients across various industry sectors.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.



• Technological savviness with experience using general AI tools and a willingness to learn legal AI technologies.



• Ability to work independently as a self-starter while collaborating effectively within a team.



• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in North Carolina or eligibility for admission.

Skills

• Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and commercial law principles.



• Competence in utilizing AI tools for legal research and document review.
