Associate Dean of Student Affairs
Responsibilities: Supervising the Associate Dean reports to the Vice Dean, the Student Services Coordinator, Mental Health Counselors, administrative staff, and overseeing Advisor for Pro Bono program at FCSL. Providing problem-solving, support, and programs for students’ non-academic and personal issues, health, and well-being. Working with Associate/Assistant Deans for Academic Affairs to address issues involving students’ academic and personal matters. Serving as the ADA Compliance Officer for the law school; maintaining up-to-date information regarding ADA requirements and compliance issues and accommodations; and processing student requests for educational accommodations based on handicap or disability. Serving as advisor for the Student Bar Association “SBA” and overseeing all other student organizations; attend SBA meetings. Working with Student Organizations in planning and coordinating their major events. Overseeing the Honor Code and Student Code of Conduct and advising students, faculty and staff on such proceedings, as needed. Working with students who have omitted information from their law school admissions applications to correct this omission and impose appropriate sanction.
